For existing users this means you will need to connect your Polldaddy account to a WordPress.com account. This only needs to be done once. Doing so will make it easier for us to manage our growing user base and make it easier for you to login to Polldaddy and any other Automattic services.
Nothing else will change in your account - your surveys, polls, and ratings will continue to function as they already are.
Please note that you cannot use a WordPress.org login. If you have installed WordPress.org on your own server, or use it from a web hosting company like Godaddy or Bluehost then you are using WordPress.org. You will still need a WordPress.com account.
Each time a survey is completed by one of your participants you will be deducted one response. Free accounts get 200/month, Pro get 5,000/month and corporate accounts get an unlimited amount. Once any new responses come in over your limit, they will appear locked until you upgrade. Poll votes are unlimited across all accounts.↑ Back To Top ↑
With a free account you can collect 200 survey responses per month across all of your surveys. Once you go over the allotted 200, we will continue to collect responses in your survey but they will appear as being locked in your reports. When you upgrade your account, all previously locked responses will become available in your reports.↑ Back To Top ↑

A poll allows you to ask just one question, and enter some predefined answers for your voter to choose from. A poll can be placed in line in your webpage and when your user votes, the results are delivered back to the poll without the page refreshing.
With a survey, you can ask many questions. A survey usually takes up a full webpage and you would just send your users a link to that page. Surveys have many different question types that allow you to collect very different types of data.
Sign up for a free account today to try these out for yourself.↑ Back To Top ↑
The link to Polldaddy.com only appears in polls and surveys that appear in a free account. They are removed from all content in both our Pro and Corporate accounts. If you have recently signed up for a Pro account and the link has remained in your polls, simple edit and re-save the poll to remove it.
If you have a free account, you can remove the link to Polldaddy in your polls and surveys by upgrading your account today.↑ Back To Top ↑

You can copy a 'Poll' by first logging into your Polldaddy account and visiting the dashboard. Locate the poll you want to copy and move your mouse over the 'responses' column. This should change into a button which can be clicked to reveal a set of actions, of which one is copy. Clicking this will copy the poll and all of its settings, but the votes of the new copied poll will be zero.↑ Back To Top ↑
This is because we have received too many votes from your IP address. You will be unblocked again in about 4 hours. If you are the owner of the poll and you have a lot of people voting in your organization from the same IP address (via a internet gateway etc.) you can email support with an IP address and we will white list it for you. This feature is only available to our Pro and Corporate account and we will only whitelist one valid IP address per account. Upgrade your account today to access this feature.↑ Back To Top ↑
When you have the 'Other' option enabled in your poll, it allows your voters to enter an answer of their own. We don't display these directly in the poll at the moment due to concerns around spam. You can however view these by logging into your account and going to the 'Reports' page for that poll.↑ Back To Top ↑
If you would like to share your survey results with a colleague or client, you can create a custom survey share for them. Read how to do it in this document: Survey Report Sharing Help
Note: Survey sharing is a Pro only feature. If you do not have a Pro account you need to upgrade your account to use this feature.↑ Back To Top ↑
